MARPA BUDDHIST CENTRE PRESENTS
A WORKSHOP ON
THE 37 PRACTICES OF A BODHISATTVA
WITH LAMA CHOEDAK RINPOCHE
13/14TH FEBRUARY 2016
Buddhist Teachings: 37 Practices of the Bodhisattvas
This is excellent master piece composed by Gyalsay Ngulchu Thokme, a versified text that His Holiness Dalai Lama says ‘has the Buddhist path in a nutshell’. Lama Choedak Rinpoche will offer elucidating commentary relevant to the contemporary world on this 15th century Buddhist poetry, often on the lips of Lamas and adepts. You will learn profound living skills through compassion and wisdom.
Lama Choedak Rinpoche is one of the finest and most prominent Tibetan Buddhist meditation masters living in Australia today. Born in Tibet, he had twelve years of rigorous monastic training under the guidance of his teacher H.E. Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, including a three and a half year solitary+ retreat sponsored by His Holiness The Dalai Lama.
